Investments

The Investments team works across the Galliford Try group assembling, funding and managing investments that help secure major public infrastructure changes throughout the UK.

Facilities Management

Our Facilities Management business is an integral part of Galliford Try, working across a range of live environments in the public sector.

Working hand-in-hand with our Construction and Investments businesses, our FM team provides high-quality solutions and a service our customers can rely on.

 

 

Telecoms

Galliford Try’s Telecoms business unit has been operating in the telecommunications market for over 30 years, and has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience through the delivery of over 25,000 wireless and core network installations across all operators within the UK.

 

Asset Intelligence

Galliford Try Asset Intelligence is an award-winning provider of integrated physical and electronic security and active fire solutions direct to Critical National Infrastructure, high-value assets and strategic estates within the built environment. Working with private, regulated sector and Government agencies, we protect communities across the UK.

Oak Specialist Services

Our Oak Specialist Services business provides new-build facades, green retrofit and cladding remediation, passive fire protection and fire maintenance, as well as risk assessments and building fabric surveys.

Oak Specialist Services is focussed on the personal development of our employees. In 2023 we have several employees gaining NVQ’s, degrees andothers working towards RICS & MCIOB Charterships.

Phil McVey

Phil McVey joined our Construction business as an Trainee Quantity Surveyor in 1978 and will achieve an astounding 45 years service later this year.  Phil progressed his career working as a Quantity Surveyor and Bid Manager before being promoted to a Board Director in 2014. Phil continues to work in our Investments business and is a huge supporter of our agile working policy when he himself  took the plunge a few years ago to reduce his working days from 5 days to 3 days.  Phil is now semi-retired but continues to work with our Investments business on a part time basis whilst pursuing his hobbies and supporting a local charity.
